Do Boond Pani (1971) This album has some beautiful songs. I had some of these from various CDs. Others a friend of mine gave it to me. This friend's source was tape and video. Therefore, I am not particularly proud of the quality. For those of you who would like to go ahead and upload, please use the following as a guideline: 1. "Bani Teri Bidiya" has some 15 to 20 seconds of dialogue in the end. Otherwise the quality is good. I wanted to eliminate thse dialogue but wasn't sure how to do it. May be some of the members can come forward and tell us a way to do this. 2. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-1". Excellent. Source CD. 3. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-3" is a juxtaposition of two songs intermixed with 1 min 48 secs of dialogue. The qauality is good. I separated these two songs and listed them separately. The first portion is the song "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-2". The second portion is the song "Peetal Ki Mori-2" by Asha Bhosle and Parveen Sultana. This song came from a CD. If you don't care for the dialogue, don't need to download this. The song portions are repeated in other songs as described here. 4. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-2" is of very good quality. 5. "Peetal Ki Mori-1" is of excellent quality. Except the song ends abruptly leaving bad taste in your mouth. If anyone of you have better quality songs for those I mentioned here, you may want to share them with the rest of us. Earthmusic lists four additional songs also as part of this album. These I do not have. Details of these are given in red italics in the following table. Please share these songs if you happen to have them. Now for details of songs and songs themselves ... Swarapriya, Thanks for this album and the thread in general. I didn't download the songs, since I already have this album. I consider Do Boond Pani as one of Jaidev's best compositions. The missing song 'ek din aisa' is same as 'Peetal Ke Meri Gaagari' Part2. I am not familiar with the third missing song. Here is one missing. Going by it's singer list, this song appears same as the one labeled 'Sai Naam'. bhaj rahi jis samay shehanai ..., main geet preet ke gaaungaa - Ambar Kumar, Shrikant Moghe, chorus - Lyrics: Kaifi Azmi (1:51 \ 128) Exon |

you can use Audacity program to get rid of unwanted protions of the music track Thanks for the information. However what I am looking for is a different kind of help. I don't want to clip a portion of the song. That I know how to do. But what I would like to do is keep the music but suppress only the vocals. No clipping here. Can Audacity do this? There are many Karaoke programs out there that apparently do this sort of thing routinely. Thanks again. Cheers, Swarapriya This post has been edited by swarapriya: Jul 10 2008, 08:16 PM |

Aalingan (1974)
This album has five songs. I got only three of them that I am uploading here. The missing songs are shown in red italics in the following table. Requesting the Forum members to share these if they have 'em. Interestingly, the music for the song "Pyaas Thi Phir Bi Takaaza Na Kiya" by Manna Dey is credited to both Jaidevji as well as Sapan Jagmohan ji. I am not sure what is the story there. Now for details of the songs and songs themselves ... Attached image(s) |

Chand Grahan (1997)
This movie was in the can for sometime and for some reason or other its production was delayed. I am not sure whether the movie was ever was released, but its music was released in 1997. There are a total of five songs in this movie. I am uploading three of them here. The missing songs are shown in red italics below. Members, please share these missing songs if you have them. Interestingly, for Ashaji's famous song "Chand Grahan", music was credited to Santosh Nair. Now for details of the songs and the songs themselves ... Attached image(s) |
