Please check and reupload kavi re kavi from parinay correctly. As when unzipped its Mitwa mere man mitwa. I have checked this. It seems to be correct. I don't mind uploading again. Are you sure this is the problem? It is concievable that I made an error. None of the other downloaders complained about it. Thanks, Swarapriya |

Tumhare Liye (1978)
Here is another Jaidev's ditty with some sweet songs. It is notable in the sense that all songs were done by the Mangeshkar sisters. Here are details of the songs followed by the songs themselves ... Attached image(s) |

Swarpriyaji, can you please upload the list of the albums that you've of Jaidev? Erumji, All individual albums of Jaidevji, I believe, I have already uploaded in this thread. (The list is: Aalaap, Dooriyan, Ek Hans Ka Joda, Ek Thi Reeta, Gaman, Gharonda, Hum Dono, Kinare Kinare, Laila Majnu, Madhushala, Mujhe Jeene Do, Parinay, Prem Parbat, Reshma aur Shera, Samundari Daku, and Tumhare Liye). I have one more CD "Wohi Baat" but it has only two songs in it. Earthmusic says it has only two songs. I will be uploading this in next few days. But I do have songs from his other movies that are scattered in various CDs. (These include Aayi Teri Yaad, Aalingan, Anjali, Ankahee, Bhavna, Chand Grahan, Do Boond Pani.) I intened to upload songs from this collection in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, they will not be complete. But Forum members have been generous enough to come forward to fill the gaps whenever there is a request. Hope that answers your questions. Ankahee (1984)
Amol Palekar is one of a kind of a film personality. Nobody like him has been in Bombay film world, except may be perhaps Nana Patekar. Where Nana could be hyper, Palekar has always given restrained performances. But Nana is not even close to the versatality of Palekar. Amol Palekar has been a producer (“Ankahee (1984)” is one of them). He has been a story writer (“Paheli (2005)” is an example). He wrote screenplays (“Kairee (2000)” is an example). He directed some offbeat movies (“Ankahee (1984)” is an example). Of course he has given several fine performances in approximately 40 or so movies he acted in (“Ankahee (1984)” again is an example). He won several awards (as a best actor 3 Filmfare awards, six state film awards, special jury award at Frances’ Nantes festival for his Marathi film “Akrit (1981)”, National award for best picture for “Ankahee (1984)”, Grand Prix award for “Daayrah (1996)” at the Festival du Valenciennes in France, and the list goes on and on. Palekarji also played in several Marathi plays before switching to Hindi movies. Early in his career he started as a painter. A great asset to the film world indeed! “Ankhaee (1984)” was based on a Marathi play Khanolkar’s “Tasme Namha”. It was a huge hit in Maharashtra. Apart from the honors mentioned earlier, the movie also fetched Jaidevji the National best music award, and for Bhimsen Joshi, the National best singer award. If you hear the songs you will know why. Just beautiful music that lets you forget all the world worries for those moments. Now for details of the songs and the songs themselves … Attached image(s) |

Do Boond Pani (1971)
This album has some beautiful songs. I had some of these from various CDs. Others a friend of mine gave it to me. This friend's source was tape and video. Therefore, I am not particularly proud of the quality. For those of you who would like to go ahead and upload, please use the following as a guideline: 1. "Bani Teri Bidiya" has some 15 to 20 seconds of dialogue in the end. Otherwise the quality is good. I wanted to eliminate thse dialogue but wasn't sure how to do it. May be some of the members can come forward and tell us a way to do this. 2. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-1". Excellent. Source CD. 3. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-3" is a juxtaposition of two songs intermixed with 1 min 48 secs of dialogue. The qauality is good. I separated these two songs and listed them separately. The first portion is the song "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-2". The second portion is the song "Peetal Ki Mori-2" by Asha Bhosle and Parveen Sultana. This song came from a CD. If you don't care for the dialogue, don't need to download this. The song portions are repeated in other songs as described here. 4. "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-2" is of very good quality. 5. "Peetal Ki Mori-1" is of excellent quality. Except the song ends abruptly leaving bad taste in your mouth. If anyone of you have better quality songs for those I mentioned here, you may want to share them with the rest of us. Earthmusic lists four additional songs also as part of this album. These I do not have. Details of these are given in red italics in the following table. Please share these songs if you happen to have them. Now for details of songs and songs themselves ...
