@ALL HF Friends ... THANK-YOU FOR YOUR APPRECIATION. IT WILL INDEED PUSH ME TO TRY EVEN MORE. But frankly i am no one to attemt songs sung by Talat Saheb. I love his singing much too much ... but then this forum and all the well-meaning friends does make one feel comfortable so that one feels like giving it a try. I am the most stringent critic of my own renderings and the one in question would not even fetch 2 out of 10, and i meant it. So your appreciation and encouragement may make me reach at least 5 out of 10 during my lifetime (Inshaa-Allah). @Sanjay your response and request to post my Lyrics has made me even bolder. I am presenting a Gazal here. (BTW 'Dil-se' is been my pen name) Unsay chhupaa chhupaa ke hai, aadat si pad ga_ii Aa_ii_naa bhi ab gaur say, maiN dekhataa nahi Aa_inaa bhi dekhooN to wohi aatay hai nazar Kis kis say yeh kahooN kay unsay wasataa nahi? Dil ko bachaa bachaa ke, mehfil meN kyaa gaye Phool chupaayaa thaa, khushboo pataa nahi ...! Dill isay tu apni aaj maan Le fateH WoH jaan gaye unki taraf dekhataa nahi Yeh pyaar hi hai unkaa, 'dil-se' to maan le 'KyuN aaye ho yahaa?', woh tumsay pooNchtaa nahi ..! "Yeri Aali Piya Bin"???as far as rythem, i need Tabla to handle it well as it's fast khayal, and u know fasts need beats .........in his class we practice it with Tabla and one more instrument sounds like Sitaar, but not Sitaar.......by the way, was there pronunciation problem? caoz i think i can't pronunance hindi well ..............thanks for feed back It's nice to know ur dad was music instructor too?..........u must have inherited lots of talent then ! .......................................................................

KR - he gave me 50% discount - he has between 20-25 classes when i checked last time (singing, tabla, sitaar, keyboardin etc) - it's 20 min class and charges $25/ class u know what, for my notes, i will keep the correct wordings, and i don't want to offend him by questioning his ability. and i thank both of you for correction........i will type the lyrics and see if this is the correct form to print for my records. .......................................................................
