I completely forgot about the new policy, thanks for the reminder. I was only thinking of saving catch22 from the trouble of re-uploading. Being on dialup a person (myself included) realizes how difficult it could be for the other person to upload, so one tends to be grateful for the little uploads possible.

Yes, there are Rules, and from the above you will note they are being implemented.

With the gradual cleaning up of song attachments, eventually there will be no Song Library for members to access previous uploads. Hence, there will be requests for songs previous uploaded, thereby leading to repeat uploads. Further, many of the repeat uploads are of better sound quality.

Unni, thank you for reminding me of another good song. Unfortunately, my version which though appears in the 4th CD of 'The Silken Voice' Collection is also the 'fade-out' version.

Does Mr. Khalid Mahmood take requests? Does he post them at his site?

Talat sahab's son indeed takes requests sent to him through his email address. And yes, the songs are posted on his father's website. I'm surprised you weren't aware of this.
The bulk of my collection comes from the uploads at his website (and of course some generous HF members)!

You can find uploads changed almost weekly. Sometimes they stay up for longer, probably due to lack of requests coming through for new songs.

Thanks for the update Mohd. The page hadn't been updated for few weeks now. Good to see some new uploads. I have requested the original version for the Karwaan song with Khalid Sahab. Now anxiously waiting for the upload to show up in a week or two.

The fast version of 'Aa Teri Tasveer Bana Loon' from 'Nadaan' is approximately 3mins 29secs, while the other one is 2min 47secs. I'm guessing there might be an extra verse or just a change in structure of lyrics, will have to give it another listen & put it down on paper.
