Thanks for this absolutely lovely rare number Mohdsaab. But this sounds like Lata not Asha. I checked the VN book and the number is not listed under Asha. Do U have all the songs of the film? Can U then please ul tera dil kahan hai which is on hf but in poor audio quality with noise. sad1.gif Also the other asha solo some Ezam ji jitne bhi hai gham....

Mohdsaab, ek or actually 3 aur request hai aapse. U had ule dthe lovely HK-Asha duet yeh hansta hua caravan--do u have their other 2 duets from the film? O jal mein rehne waali and baharein bhi dekhi nazare bhi dekhe. Also the Asha solo aaya kaun meri mehfil mein dil hua diwana....

You are right priyaji, this track is by Lataji and not Ashaji, I shall move it to Lataji's Forum. Sorry, I received this song with a wrong tag. I have the Chandni Chowk -Ashaji's 2 songs -requested "Tera dil kehan hai " and "Eizam Eizamji jitne bhi gham hai".
and I am posting now.

A very interesting point to note here is that Ashaji sings along with Rajkumariji and Ashaji individually sings the last - third stanza in this film version but this third stanza is eliminated in the 78 rpm version due to time constraints of 3 minutes or so
Consequently her name is not credited in the 78 rpm version but credited as a solo by Rajkumariji.

Request to Priyaji to check in VN Book also.

Yes I checked the VN book. It is listed as the first duet of Rajkumari and Asha. The only other duet listed is "ho tujhko mubarak teri taqdeer badalne wali hai" from the 1955 film Bindiya--music Snehal Bhatkar--do u have this song tongue.gif
BTW does anyone here have Asha's duet with her daughter Varsha from the film sansani (1983)--not a great song I believe but certainly of value to an Asha fan.
