Sajdah Initially I too fell into the trap as most of the announcers of Radio Ceylon used to call it Lata and it is so as per Earthmusic.net. I don't know whether there is a Lata version in the movie. But the uploads which appeared many times in the forum and the one which is commonly heard on the radio is by Asha, and I'm sure of it. --Balaji Balaji sahab, i am just as certain as you are – so is Mahesh ji, that it’s Asha. VB ( Vividhbharati for the uninitiated ) too makes the common mistake of crediting this song to Lata Mangeshkar instead of Asha. I doubt whether Asha Bhosle would be particularly chuffed if she ever came to know that an early song of her’s is being passed off as sung by her older sis.
