Thanks, Sajjad-bhai. The video of this interview has been uploaded and I had preserved it. Just checked it and it doesn't show him singing the lines of the song. So, your upload is a valuable addition!

Wonder if we can get hold of the full original song --- of historical value to Rafians.

If memory serves me right....i'm sure in the film after Rafi finishes singing this song there is a pause for about 5 seconds then the song continues with Asha Bhonsle singing.....I know because I got that version on video somewhere
