That Pi Pi pi piya song is absolutely breathtaking. Have always felt that Shamshad and Kishore made a great pair, the mischief drips from both their voices...That yodeling of Kishore and the flirtation continues in whispers... what a pity she did not get more duets opposite Kishore after the fifties. And good heavens, is that Jagdeep in a sailer get-up with a cigarette dangling from his lips... on second thoughts, maybe not... What a great idea to have a dramatic musical, to get more out of a club song than just a seduction scenario. All the women look goreous in it... from Cuckoo to Nalini Jayawant, though I have to admit Nalini Jaywant manages to look more seductive than Cuckoo. Never realised she had so much oomph!!! Hmmm now I think I have to take my Dad seriously when he said that Nimmi was considered sexy (to be fair to him, he used the term "very attractive") in her hey days...
