I prefer Rafi-sahab' song with the same theme in "CHAUDVIN KA CHAND" theme: "Yeh Lucknow ki sarzameen".

Also, the picturization of the song in "PALKI" is identical to that of "Mere Mehboob Tujhe" in "MERE MEHBOOB", both featuring Rajendra Kumar.

Naushad-sahab, of course, had a natural fondness for his home-town Lucknow.

"Yeh Lucknow ki sarzameen", I agree the overall song is better. But I like the tarz of the Palki's No more... specially the opening words: "Aye Shehre Lucknooooo".

"Mere Mehboob Tujhe Mera Salam", marvellous!!! But wot can I say, I guess every man has his one opinion.... I like Lata's version more.

P.S. Do you and akhtar ji think Agarkar can make a difference compared to Zaheer ?. India's conditioning is not that bad, their fielding has improved alot but Australia is still the benchmark I think for alot of cricketing nations. India has to come good with their batting and show that their lineup is one of the best in the world. By the way Dravid is the stand in captain.....Ganguly is out due to cramps....4 changes in the Indian team......interesting lol !!
