Thanks so much for these nice uploads.
I am hearing 'Anna ninna sodariyanna' after many many years.

Even members unfamiliar with Kannada songs might be interested to listen 'nee bandu nintaaga ..' from Kasturi Nivasa. It's tune is based on 'Yeh dil diwaana hai' from Ishq Par Zor Nahin.

You are right Hari Ram. The tunes are almost the same. Both songs are equally good. I never get tired if listening to old Kannada songs. The new ones are not worth listening in my opinion. Since I am going back to Kansas on Sunday, I thought of uploading as manykannada songs as possible.

Thanks for yet another beautiful song.
I haven't seen this movie. This is probably sung during Grahapravesha, when a couple is welcomed into groom's house by groom's sisters.

Would you have the following two songs?

'udugore yonda thanda, hostilali naguthali ninda, neene nannavalenda,
mogavemba aravinda kempaayithu naachike indaa' - Movie: Naandi ?

'putta putta hejje ittu, bannada angi thotta thangi ...' by P. B. Srinivas

Thanks for this very nice song. The audio quality is also quite good.
I feel, if Purandara dasa had lived today, he would have changed the first line to 'aachaara villada keyboard'.

Yes. Purandara dasa would be called hollywood dasa. I saw that movie mana mechhida madadi more than 40 years ago when I was still in college. I had to go with my mom . I was really ashmed to see kannada or tamil movies. I never wanted any of my college mates to see me in such places. Raj kumar and Leelavathi starred in this movie. The songs are all nice. I have songs from Naandi. I will upload them . I know the other song ,but I have forgotten the movie. I will get it for you.
