Hi All,
Just joined this grp and was really happy to find so many fans of The Hussain Brothers ... I've been a big fan of them since the day I first heard their ghazal in the Love Album Vol 1.
Here i can see so many ppl uploading files ... but i'm not able to download them ... what's the catch? do I have to pay something ???

I recently came across this very impressive rendition by (I am given to understand) the nephew of Ahmed & Mohd. Hussain - also realized I do not have the 'original' version by the Uncles.

Could some kind soul please oblige?

The link seems to contain some error, I am unable to connect. Could you please name the ghazal?

Mohd. Salamat (if that is who you're talking about it) is the Hussain bros' nephew and quite a promising singer. He came through Zee TV's Saregama and is now a playback singer in bollywood.

Click on the 'play' symbol more than once and it starts playing - I just tried it out. The singer is Mohd Vakil and this is a clipping of Sonu Nigam hosting the earlier Sa Re Ga Ma finals in 98 with a super-impressive panel of judges.

It worked this time, Thanks. Wonderful ghazal it is and an equally melodious recital. Sorry yaar, tumahri tarah main bhi pehli baar sun raha hoon yeh ghazal. Add me to the list of those looking for "Uthao Jhoom ke"!

On a request from HF's Munna Bhai, I am uploading a Ghazal and its alter ego in the next two posts. Both have been penned by Hasrat Jaipuri sahab.

Bibhas ji,
Bahut shukriya aapka. In ghazlon ke liye main kitne din tadap raha tha...no I mean it. I bought the cassette of Gudasta but can't listen to it at work. Now I have the means.
Oh, and this points system is quite good. I am motivated to share my stuff with others in the forum in a secure manner. The required ul/dl ratio could probably be 1 or even more to get more participation! Anyway, nice to see the forum active again!
