Ravi, that is a very good thought to put the list on the very first post of the thread....so that it is easily retreivable...i have accordingly put the list on the first post duly colour-coded as suggested by Nimii...we could all follow that..

Parag, i saw the Geeta Dutt thread...wow...we are heading for some interesting discovery here looks like...because Nimii did put this song as a part of Pyar...but VN's and Kamal Dhiman's dont include this song in Pyar as now modified by Nimii....lets wait and watch....if someone has more insight into this whole thing...

But the way i understand it.....Sunday ki sunday of Shehnai is supposed to have some words sung by guru in it...This info given by ravi..

I had five songs from Pyar, all uploaded by you...the sixth one is infact a googly as you said....I will check up the version of Jalti Hai Duniya that i have...may be i have the part 2 and not part 1..

Yes, my question was how that "Shehnai 1947" number appeared in KK list. I did not know that Guru had lines in that number. After I read the post I listened to the song and checked for singers, I could not find any reference of Guru

You are right GuruFan, i too have the part 1...so the hunt continues...

Marcie, but could you identify any Guru's voice in the song??? he might not have got credit for that since he would have been almost a non-entity then....(only to show later that what he was made of)...
