Hi all,
I have a suggestion for prevention of misuse of this forum without getting into the problems of 'trusted' principle (although one might argue that I have no business suggesting since I'm a newbie). Why not try points system for downloads as exists on many fora. That way people can't leech and one extra feature could be added: the download could be opened for all during the last few days of its existence. I'm sure this will work as it works on many other fora. That way, really interested people only will remember to come back in time in case they don't want to spend enough points for d'l'ing stuff.
What say admins???

I am a big fan of Ustad Ahmed & mohd hussain and thought the same abt them as u did i.e they r from pakistan.
they r close to u ,its amazing yaar,I just want to touch their feet once.

Could u please update me with their coming concerts anywhere in india,I really want to see them live and want to make this lifetime of mine successful.

I am from delhi but ready to go anywhere for their concert ,So please update me whenever they do a concert or they come on tv or they cut cout their new album.

Fabulous ghazal Rom, thanks for requesting it. Here you go....

Needless to say, the composition is simply out of this world! Aur lyrics ki to baat hi kuch aur hai, Basheer Badr ka jaadoo!

Yes, how could I overlook that ohmy.gif But then, I am such a die hard fan of the brothers, I took that for granted. There's an another version by Jaggu Bhai but I wouldn't dare compare it with this.

Thanks a million smile1.gif . At the risk of sounding greedy, may I request the following ghazals ? These are from the album "Tasveer", an absolute beauty by Hussain brothers. I have this album on tape (copied from a friend many years ago during my days in Bangalore) and it's deteriorating now. I would really really appreciate if you (or any other HFers) could upload these for me.

1. Dil mein Dekha to woh Imaan bane baithe hain

2. Kitni Palkon ki nami mang ke layi hogi

3. Seene mein samandar ke laave sa sulagta hoon

After years of searching for the album, I finally found "Tasveer" in a tiny little dilapidated shop in Canada!!!
